Stacy was introduced to the need in foster care in 2018 when her good friend became a foster mom. Through seeing their need for supportive community and some God-ordained timing, Stacy became the Church Advocate for The Mill Church.

Stacy joined Welcomed staff in 2019 and now serves as the Executive Director. She looks forward with anticipation to seeing even more of the impact that Welcomed ministries across the state of WI will have on the fostering community.

Stacy loves taking quiet peaceful rides in her canoe, listening to books and podcasts, and spending time with her husband, Adam, and their 4 rambunctious and lovely children.

Tricia and her husband Jeremy are proud parents to four adult children and doting grandparents to 7 lovely grandchildren. 

Tricia and Jeremy felt called to work with teens and have always been drawn to those kids that others deemed as difficult or were struggling. As the director of the local Boys and Girls club teen center, Tricia worked with children and teens there who were experiencing foster care, and that exposure eventually led to Jeremy and Tricia welcoming teens into their home as foster parents for 5 years.

Through a series of amazing God moments, Jeremy and Tricia were connected with others who were fostering, their church, and Welcomed which all came together to launch their Family Advocacy Ministry via a foster closet. Tricia is passionate about empowering groups—especially the Church—to live out Christ’s mission. Through Welcomed, Tricia is grateful to play a role in helping the Church come alive as it loves and serves the most vulnerable. John 13:35 ...That the world may know…

Tricia enjoys history — especially biblical history, ancestry, and American history. Fall is her favorite season, particularly enjoying the colors and riding with Jeremy in his Fiero. She is drawn to the Northwoods and would gladly live there if she could. She cherishes time with her family, especially being a grandma.

Carrie Kingston has served as the Church Advocate for Washaura Community Church since 2017. Carrie is experienced in launching and maintaining care communities and has a passion to help vulnerable children find stability wherever they call home. Carrie’s experience as a missionary at two different orphanages in Guatemala and her education and teaching experience have given her perspective and vision for helping children in need.

Carrie now serves as a Welcomed Regional Advocate, working on maintaining connections with our partner churches and advocates.

Carrie enjoys spending time with her family and friends, painting, being outdoors, and traveling

Ashlyn and her husband have three sweet kiddos - Cayden, Daisy Hope & Felicity Joy. They have been married for 10 years and are high school sweethearts.

Ashlyn and her husband felt called to foster care at the very beginning of their relationship, and knew it would be part of their story. They have been a foster family for 8 years. They feel called to stand in the gap for as long as they can, however they can.

Ashlyn is thrilled to join Welcomed, and feels incredibly blessed to have this opportunity.

Ashlyn LOVES to read! Her family likes to take walks together and have family movie nights. They are big baseball fans, go Cardinals!
